International Fashion Show

With the theme of “Culture”, the fashion show features 4-outfits collections developed by the 10 international winners from the call for International Young Fashion Talent using the AI-based Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion (AiDA). In addition, collections designed by 5 local fashion designers from “Kan Tai Keung X AiDLab X HK Fashion Designers Show” will be presented again at the Hong Kong Palace Museum.

About AiDA (AI-based Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion)

Developed by Prof. Calvin Wong, CEO & Centre Director of AiDLab, Cheng Yik Hung Professor in Fashion of PolyU, and his team, AiDA is the first-to-market technology that empowers fashion designers to streamline their creative process by generating original collections based on their unique inspirations. With just a few clicks, designers can choose or refine options to develop fashion collections, bringing agility, efficiency and flexibility to labour intensive studio processes.

About International Young Talent Mentorship

10 winners have been selected from over 100 entries of the call for International Young Fashion Talent in June 2024. The mentorship programme nurtures the young talents, empowering them with AI fashion design skills and contributing to the creative innovation eco-system. Under the guidance of Prof. Calvin Wong and his team, the young fashion talents create 4-outfits collections with the AiDA system, which will be presented at the Culture X AI International Fashion Show.
