We are looking for international young fashion talent to join us on our innovation journey. 10 young fashion talent from worldwide will be selected, to create a collection with the theme “Culture”. The collection will be showcased at the fashion show which will take place at Hong Kong Palace Museum.
Each selected young fashion talent will be mentored by Prof. Calvin Wong and his team, creating a 4-outfit collection using the cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence based Fashion Assistant (AiDA) system with full technical support and production fee subsidy from the project.

The Call for Fashion Young Talent is open to current students/ recent graduates (up to 5 years) of fashion design/ design on diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate or research programmes.

Nationality of applicants must bases on the supporting passport or identification information.

Applicants may present their works in womenswear, menswear or genderless fashion.

All applications shall be submitted online via the application system

A design statement to describe the creative ethos and collection concept in max. 300 words.

Portfolio of the applying fashion young talents can be in PDF and/or website format:
a) Previous work including below items:
- Mood Board
- Colour Board
- Material Board
- Fashion development Sketches
- Illustrations with production drawings of 4 outfits
b) The PDF size should be under 30MB with max. 20 pages.
c) The PDF file to be submitted together with the application should be named as "Applicant's full name.pdf" (e.g. PeterCHAN.pdf).

1. Creativity and originality
To assess the applicant’s approach for concept development and the ability to think creatively and demonstrate originality in their design.
2. Innovative use of materials and colours
To assess the applicant’s creative abilities and approaches to utilize different materials and colour scheme.
3. Overall presentation of portfolio
The applicants should be able to present adequate knowledge and skill for fashion design in their portfolio.
